William C. "Bill" Walker, Devoted husband of Janice (Dailey) Walker, Dear Father of Michael A. Walker, Christopher P. (Yvonne) Walker and the late John W. Walker, brother of the late Shirley Schuler and Mary Knabe, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bill a resident of Bethel, passed away February 11, 2014 at the age of 86 years. Bill a WWII Veteran entered the Army immediately after high school graduation, upon returning home from the service he attended college at Xavier University. An entrepreneur at heart, he soon started his own business as President of A1 Walker Print Service in Norwood, he enjoyed this community for many years. Always eager to start new projects he then opened a friendly bar/night club in Norwood called the Library Lounge. After moving to Bethel in 1972 Bill operated a Radio Shack Franchise in nearby Mt. Orab. In his spare time he piloted a small plane, a hobby he enjoyed with a friend/employee at the Library Lounge. After "retiring" he helped operate an embroidery business, Bill had many close, loyal friends because of his outgoing, cheerful personality. It was always open house for his friends. They returned the hospitality with companionship and laughter through his long illness. Thank you family and friends.Services were already held at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Bethel, Ohio.
