Linda Fox Obituary

Circleville Linda Kay (McFadden) Fox, 82, of Circleville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, just one day before her 83rd birthday.

Born on November 7, 1942, to Vern and Imogene McFadden, Linda lived a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, faith, and unwavering devotion to her family. She touched countless lives with her kindness, gentle spirit, and ability to make everyone feel seen, heard, and loved.

A proud graduate of Saltcreek Township High School's final graduating class, Linda was known from an early age for her strong work ethic and warm heart. She later enjoyed a long and fulfilling career at Ralston Purina, where she was a loyal and respected employee until her retirement at the age of 70. Her work reflected the same dedication and care she brought to every part of her life.

Linda's true joy, however, was found at home and in the lives of those she loved most. She and her beloved husband, Samuel Fox, shared 65 years of marriage, a rare and enduring bond rooted in friendship, faith, and humor. Together they built a home that overflowed with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.

Linda was the proud and devoted mother of Beth (Kevin) Steward, Kelly (Mike) George, and Shannon (Shawn) Bishop. She found immense joy in her role as "Grandma" to Anthony Thomas Jr., Dereck Thomas, and Blake Fox, and she cherished every moment spent with her great-grandchildren Jae, Ryan, Jesse, and Avalee. Her grandchildren were her heart, she celebrated their milestones, encouraged their dreams, and loved them beyond measure.

She is also survived by her dear sister, Verna Herdman of Brewton, Alabama, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and her loyal companions, Minnie and Dhargi, who rarely left her side.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Imogene McFadden; her sisters, Phyllis Ross and Beverly Hughes; and her brother, Mike McFadden.

Linda will be remembered for her boundless generosity, quick wit, and radiant smile. She had a gift for making a house feel like a home ,whether she was cooking a family meal, tending her garden, or simply offering a comforting word to someone in need. She loved holidays, books, and long conversations over coffee. Her laughter filled rooms and her compassion uplifted everyone who crossed her path.

In keeping with Linda's wishes, there will be no formal services. Her family invites all who knew her to celebrate her life in their own meaningful way - by reading a good book, tending to a garden, sharing a kind word, or contributing to a charity close to their heart. Memorial donations may also be made to one of Linda's favorite causes, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in her honor.

Linda's legacy will live on through the love she gave, the kindness she showed, and the beautiful family she leaves behind. Though her presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
