Stanley V. Echelbarger

Ashville Stanley V. Echelbarger, 84 of Ashville, OH passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Grove City Senior Living. He was born on June 18, 1940 in Columbus, OH to the late Victor and Helen (Holmes) Echelbarger. He was a graduate of Central High School and retired from the State of Ohio Employment Office as an office agent. Stan served his country in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Germany. He had attended OSU receiving an Associate's Degree and was a member of South Bloomfield Methodist Church. He enjoyed golf, bowling, and loved history.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife JoAnn Roese Echelbarger on October 17, 2024.

Survived by children, Dennis Echelbarger, Diana (Paul) Cart, William (Tasha) Rogers, and Earlene (Jeff) Romine; grandchildren Bradley, Zachary, Austin and Spencer Cart, Morgan Harper, Olivia, Dominic and Grace Rogers, Trevor, Ryan, and Ella Romine; mother-in-law, Rose Petrasio Roese; sister, Karen her husband Mike Jacob; numerous great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 20th from 4-7 p.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville with a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 21st with Pastor Floyd Hubbell officiating. Interment will follow in Harrison Township Cemetery, South Bloomfield.
