Barbara Sisk Obituary
Asheville - Barbara Jean Zibelin Sisk, 88, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Givens Estates Health Center following a series of medical challenges and, finally, Covid-19.
Barbara was born in Asheville N.C. to the late Charles Henry Zibelin and Lula Williams Zibelin. She was also preceded in death by her husband Robert Victor Sisk.
Barbara attended Lee Edwards High School, Class of 1951 then attended Asheville Biltmore Junior college, Class of 1953. She worked at Asheville Savings Bank as Administrative Assistant to the bank president for many years. She also loved volunteering at MANNA Food Bank. She was a member of Groce United Methodist Church.
She leaves behind two daughters: Holly S. Elledge and husband Doug Elledge of Asheville; Laura S. Riddle and husband Randy Riddle of Little River SC; four grandchildren Terrell Shane Sisk (Heather) of Chesapeake VA, Mark Elledge (Mary) of Asheville, Matt Elledge (Grace) of Black Mountain and Brittany Riddle of Little River SC; three great-grand children; Jaxon, Camden and Ellie Sisk of Chesapeake VA. She also leaves behind two brothers Joel Zibelin (Pat) of Knoxville TN and Charles "Buddy" Zibelin of Marshall NC.
No funeral services are scheduled at this time.

What a great lady..... I was very fortunate to have met her at Givens, and I always knew she would brighten my day. I am very sorry for your loss , but know she is in a glorious place.
