Christopher Lawing Obituary
Weaverville - Christopher Daniel Lawing, age 36, of 31 Stoney Hollow Drive died Saturday, July 9, 2016.
Chris was born February 18, 1980 in Buncombe County where he had lived all of his life. One of Chris' happiest times was while attending Charles D. Owen High School. He was a traffic flagger by trade.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, Roy and Sherry Lawing of Swannanoa; mother and stepfather, Teresa Fisher and husband George of Weaverville; sister, Jennifer Cope and partner Jason Hughes of Spartanburg, SC; one niece; three nephews; and many friends.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 14, 2016, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Reverend Ronald Dodson officiating. Burial will be in Clark's Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
Flowers are welcome.
