Emily Tunstall Obituary
Asheville - Emily "Connie" Tunstall, 89, passed away on Saturday July 21, 2018 at Carolina Reserve of Hendersonville after a ten year courageous battle against Dementia with Lewy body.
A native of Warren, PA, she was the daughter of the late Mary Stillwell Magliari and Harry Conroy.
A small town girl who moved to New York and became a model. In 1951 she married Harry Paul Tunstall in Garden City, NY. After getting married, Emily quit her modeling career and devoted herself to being a full time homemaker and mother.
Emily moved to Asheville in August of 1990 and volunteered for a decade with Project STEAM where she encouraged high risk youth to stay in school, graduate and attend college.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harry, sister Barbara, and brother Buddie. Emily is survived by her son, Jeffrey Tunstall of Asheville; son, Michael Tunstall of Irvine, CA; daughter, Mary Ann Tunstall of Hendersonville; son Christopher Tunstall of Hendersonville; and a brother, Junie of New Hampshire.
The family will receive friends on Thursday July 26 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Morris Funeral Home, 304 Merrimon Ave. A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Friday July 27 at 2:00pm at Carolina Reserve of Hendersonville, 1820 Pisgah Drive, Hendersonville NC 28791. Graveside committal will follow at Calvary Churchyard Cemetery in Fletcher, NC.

I am so sorry for your loss . I know you are experiencing tremendous grief. You may find comfort knowing that Jesus spoke of a time when god is marvelous act that will cause great joy for his beloved children. God spoke of a time of when you would be reunited with you loved ones. I hope this gave you comfort.
