Frankie,
I just found out about your dad's passing away yesterday and just couldn't believe it.
I was in your shop about Sept. 8 on routine stuff and never had any idea Frank even had an illness. He always had that twinkle in his eye and was always upbeat.
You and he always gave your customers and our valley top-notch service and even more importantly a neighborliness and class that is so hard to find anymore.
Our valley has lost a great man, and I hope you and all your loved ones, as well as Frank's wife are pulling together in unity and are comforted in knowing how much your dad was loved and respected by all who knew him.

When I read the note from my neighbor Tommie Boston telling of Frank's passing, I found it hard to believe at first. What a great loss this is not only to his family, but also to his very extended family, which in Frank's case included customers, business associates, and no doubt lots of other people as well. Frank and I joked, laughed, and at the same time I learned much about life and things automotive from him. As you know, Frank was as honest as the day is long (even longer). I always enjoyed him calling me "son," despite my being three years older.
Frankie, thank you for asking Tommie to let me know this very sad news. If I had known earlier, my wife and I would have been in that long line of well wishers in Burnsville.

Frankie and Karen, I can't tell you how big a hole the loss of your dad has left in my (and the multitudes) heart. Frank Sr helped me and my family more times than I can remember these past 20 years. I hurt for you, but also celebrate that he continues through you and Sam. Tommie and Ben Boston, Swannanoa
