Fred Kahn Obituary
Asheville - Fred N. Kahn, 81, passed away on Saturday February 20, 2016 at Sarasota Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born in Asheville, NC, the son of the late Mortimer and Adele Nachman Kahn. Fred is survived by his wife, Janice L. Kahn; a son, Stuart Kahn and his wife, Mary, and a daughter, Lauren Kahn Mattysse and her husband, Jeremiah. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Marissa, Braum and Jackie.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Asher Katz.
He was well loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30pm on Wednesday February 24, 2016 at Riverside Cemetery with Rabbi Shaya Susskind officiating.

Many condolences and hugs, Jan, to you and your family. Many of us just found out about Fred's passing this weekend at the Orlando Postcard Show. He will be greatly missed, and mermaids still have tears in their eyes.
