Jason B. Wilcox

Swannanoa - Jason B. Wilcox, 49, of Swannanoa passed away July 20, 2021.

Jason was born December 17, 1971 In Orlando, Florida. He graduated from A.C. Reynolds High School in 1990 and enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served from 1990 to 1994. He was employed with Cyclone Plumbing for over 20 years and was a motorcyclist enthusiast.

Jason is survived by his fiancé, Jennifer Chapman; children, Nicole Halvorson (Joe) and Shawn Chapman (Jordan); mother, Gloria Wilcox; father, Roy Wilcox (Becky); sisters, Korey Carter (James) and Cammy Wilcox; brother, Dairen Wilcox (Shandy); grandchildren, Jett, Lars, and Tyke; uncle, Bill Braunsdorf (Karen); nieces and nephews, Logan, Nova, Declan, Emily, Rory, Cohen, and Trevor; and loving best friend, Blue.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 6:00 to 7:00pm at Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services with a Celebration of Life service immediately following.

Burial will be Friday, July 23, 2021 at 10:00am in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
