Keith Edward Simuel transitioned from this life on Friday, July 16th at the CarePartners Solace Hospice Center. He is the son of Maxine Simuel Jones and stepson of Nathaniel Jones. He is the paternal son of the late Julius McDowell.

Keith is survived by his mother, Maxine Jones and stepfather Nathaniel Jones of Asheville, NC; his sister Patricia Simuel-Wilson, brothers Walter Marvels (Tanya) of Charlotte and Henry Lee Marvels of Asheville. Aunts, Lenora Randolph, Betty McDowell; Uncle Michael Gragg all of Asheville, NC; other half brothers and sisters; a host of nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends. He is also survived by his church family at Sycamore Temple Church of God in Christ.

Viewing for Keith Edward Simuel will begin on Tuesday July 20 - Friday July 23, 2021. A "Celebration of Life" memorial service will be held on Saturday July 24, 2021, 2:00 pm at Sycamore Temple Church of God in Christ; 11 North Ann Street, Asheville, NC. Flower and monetary donations may be made to Sycamore Temple's Evangelism Department.
