Michael Breedlove Obituary
Swannanoa, NC - Michael Thad Breedlove, 53, of Swannanoa, passed away February 18, 2015.
Mr. Breedlove was born April 30, 1961 in Buncombe County. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, brother, friend and papaw.
Michael was a veteran of the US Marine Corp.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lou Breedlove and grandparents, Carmie and Pearl Smith, Ellis and Faye Breedlove.
Michael is survived by his wife, Mary Breedlove; daughters, Ashley Breedlove (Doug Carver) and Robin Buckner; brother, Matthew Breedlove (Pam); granddaughter, Olivia Carver; father, Ed Breedlove; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, February 23, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals with Rev. Jim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the WNC State Veterans Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to: 102 Short St., Swannanoa, NC 28778.
Arrangements are in the care of Harwood Home for Funerals.

I know this is extremely late, but I just came across this. I served with michael in the marine corps in okinawa, japan back in 1981&82. He was a good friend and I offer my sincere condolences to all his family.
