Walt Revis Obituary
Asheville - Walt Revis, age 62, of 34 Boone Street, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014.
Walt was born August 2, 1951 in Buncombe County where he had lived all of his life. He was a retired Carpenter in the home building industry. Walt was a NASCAR fan and especially liked Dale Earnhardt. He was the son of the late Jack and Mary Bain Revis.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Patty Kuykendall Revis; daughter, Wendy Robinson of Asheville; son, Walter Revis, Jr. of Asheville; sisters, Betty Ann Revis of Marion, and Helen Proctor and husband Gene of Texas; brother, "Pinkie" Revis and wife Judy of Weaverville; and grandchildren, Dustin Robinson, Alyssa Robinson, and Memori Revis.
His funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2014, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, with Revs. Roger Kuykendall and Larry Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Clark's Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
At other times, the family will be at the residence.
Flowers are welcome.
