Yvonne Lewis Obituary
Asheville - Yvonne Patricia Lewis (Patsy), born November 5th, 1947 in Mandeville, Manchester, WI, Jamaica; daughter of the late Elver Lewis and Louise Minott. Patsy grew up in WI, Jamaica, where she also attended school and graduated as a hairdresser.
In July 1982 she migrated to the United States of America, and settled in Asheville, North Carolina. She was self-employed and had a great relationship with her employers. Patsy had a strong personality, and she fought with determination for whatever she believed "was her right." She was pleasant, had a very caring attitude and a generous spirit. She must be commended for her excellent memory: one that never forgot anything. She enjoyed gardening and cooking.
In the midst of life, there is death; and on Thursday, January 8, 2015 the heavenly father called her home. Her fond and lasting memories will be treasured by sons, Gary, Kevin and Dwayne; daughters, Karen and Casey; sisters, Hope, Barbara, and Terry; brothers, Roy, George, Gary and Frank; grandchildren, Anneka, Brandon and Christian; in-laws, Amor, Ann, Veronica, Evelyn; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, grand nephews, grandnieces, and other relatives and friends in the United States and WI, Jamaica.
The Service for Yvonne Patricia Lewis (Patsy) will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11 AM at the Hart Funeral Service Chapel with interment following at Violet Hill Cemetery.

My heart goes out to you guys. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know and spend time with your lovely mom. There was never a time that I didn't feel welcome in her presence.
