Ann Hayduk Obituary

Ann Hayduk, formerly of Holland Street, Wilkes-Barre, passed away, Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at home in Mountain Top.

Born April 1940 in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Gertrude Sorber Miller and a graduate of Meyers High School, Class of 1957.

She was formerly employed by Dr. David Kistler, Kistler Clinic and Geisinger Medical Center and a member of St. Andrew Parrish, Wilkes-Barre.

She and her husband, Edward, would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 7, 2018.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Bert, Bill, Don, Gene and Lee Miller.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her son, Edward Hayduk Jr., Macungie; daughter, Karen and her husband, David Mahle, Lehman Twp.; Dottie and her husband, Jerry Bogumil, Mountain Top; grandchildren, Colleen, Hannah, Nathan, Jennifer, Megan, Eric and Lori.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from Mamary-Durkin Funeral Service, 59 Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. Andrew Parish, Parrish Street, Wilkes-Barre.

Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Those who desire may give memorial contributions can donate to the Parkinson Foundation.

Aunt Ann's husband Uncle Ed, her and his children and grandchildren, their nieces and nephews, her only surviving sibling Dottie Richards and other in-laws & friends & former coworkers can all be comforted now knowing that Ann's suffering from Parkinson's disease finally is over.
