Bonnie Mae Stash of Larksville died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.
Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Florence Hunt and was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Church and past member of the Elks, Pringle.
Bonnie enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with family, mostly while vacationing. She recently got to go to the Canadian Rockies, a place she loved.
She also loved baking with her husband and granddaughter, Morgan. She cherished her time playing rummy with her friends and family, especially losing to her son and grandchildren for gas money.
She loved to listen to her grandson Michael's band play, especially at the casino.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Marion Ellsworth, Dorothy Liseno, and Raymond, Donald and Daniel (Butch) Hunt.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, William Stash; daughter, Jackie Stash, Benton; son, Michael Stash and his wife, Vicki, Plymouth; two grandchildren, Michael Stash and Morgan Emel; one great-grandson, Patrick Emel; and one expected great-granddaughter, Gianina Victoria Mae Emel; and extended family, Michele Rebuck, Benton.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday from Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St., Larksville. Interment will follow in St. Mary Byzantine Cemetery, Pringle. Friends are invited to join the family from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and from 9:30 a.m. to service time Monday at the funeral home.
