Bridget N. Komnath, 82, of Macungie, passed away Monday morning, March 7, 2022, at her home.
Born in Taylor, she was the daughter of the late James K. and Alice M. Corcoran Conway.
Bridget was a graduate of Wilkes-Barre Twp. High School, and earned her LPN degree from College Misericordia, Dallas. She was employed as a nurse at Irvington General Hospital, Irvington, N.J., and local nursing homes in the Lehigh Valley. She was a member of St. Ann's Church, Emmaus.
Bridget was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Eileen Williams; and Alice Morrow; brothers, James, William, Thomas and Joseph Conway.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Edward Komnath, Macungie; daughters, Karen Haldeman and her husband, Kevin, Auburn; and Mary Ellen Komnath, Alpine, Ariz.; grandchildren, Konnor and Olivia Haldeman; sisters, Julia Paralis; and Irene Kelly; brothers, John, Patrick and Michael Conway; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Corpus Christi Parish/Immaculate Conception Church, 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston, with Monsignor John Sempa, pastor, officiating. Interment will be held in St. Mary's Byzantine Cemetery, Lake Street, Dallas. Friends and family may call from 9 a.m. to service time.
