Cecilia Besecker Obituary
CC, as she was known, was born in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, on Sept. 29, 1989. She was born 15 minutes before her twin sister, Courtney. She was the daughter of Theresa M. Jacobs and Robert L. Besecker Jr., Dallas Township.
She graduated from Dallas Area High School in 2008 and studied fashion merchandising at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana.
CC attended and received her sacraments at the Church of St. Therese in Shavertown.
Surviving, in addition to her parents and twin sister, Courtney, are her older brother, Patrick, Harrisburg; younger brother, Andrew, Dallas; paternal grandparents, Robert and Margaret Besecker, Dallas; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Frances Jacobs, East Greenville; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins throughout Pennsylvania.
Friends are invited to join CC's family at St. Therese's Church, Pioneer Aveunue and Davis Street, Shavertown, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. James J. Paisley will officiate. Interment will be made in Evergreen Cemetery, Shavertown. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown.
In keeping with CC's bright personality and positive outlook, we are going to make this a colorful gathering. She liked polka dots and pearls, so if you have them, wear them, make CC proud.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the CC Besecker Collection for the Arts payable to and in care of St. Therese's Church, 61 Davis St., Shavertown, PA 18708.

I know it's late actually really late but I miss you a lot and it's tough with you not around it's like a puzzle piece missing in my heart it will never ever be the same, you are the best cousin I have ever had we hung out all the time and we have a lot in common such as art singing and athleticy such as soccer ....... We all miss you so so much and wish god didn't take you so soon because you had a whole life planned ahead of you but god must of had a plan for you or else he wouldn't of taken you so gosh darn earlie but I guess it was for a reason but I LOVE YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!<3333333 as soon as I get too heavens gates I am going to run in find you give you a huge hug and never let go so rest in piece and may god be with my Aunt Terri and my Uncle Rob and healing will take time but will soon be better!! My entire family and I have been in shock since we heard the awful news about Cecilia. There is no way to describe it but tragic when a loved one is taken too soon. CC will forever be young, she will forever be beautiful and all of the wonderful memories of CC will keep her very much alive in the hearts and minds of so many who loved her.
The last gift my sister Kate and I received from our Dad/your Uncle Jim was a set of pearls. I'll be wearing mind with polka-dots tomorrow in CC's honor and wishing I was there with everyone to '...raise her up on eagles wings' at St. Therese's Church. CC, it is so weird not having you here to talk to anymore, but I know that you wouldn't want any of us to be sad, so I am trying my hardest to not be, but i lost a lot more than just a friend the other day so it is hard to cope with this. I hope wherever you are you know that I love you, and you have so many people who care about you.
