Clara Jean Morgan, 90, of West Nanticoke, passed away Sunday Aug. 22, 2021 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.
Born on Nov. 27, 1930 in West Nanticoke, she was the daughter of the late Yolanda and Pierce Frace.
She was a graduate of Harter High School and was formerly employed as a computer programmer at Fort Mammoth, N.J.
She was the beloved wife of John Morgan Jr., who preceded her in death on June 13, 2000 after celebrating 50 years of marriage together.
In addition to her husband, John, and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, John and Robert Frace.
She was the loving mother of John P. Morgan (Patricia), Bricktown, N.J.; and Yolanda Thomas, Shavertown.
She was the devoted grandmother of Matthew Thomas, Renee (Colby) Slonaker, Tiffany Thomas, Ryan (Nadine) Morgan, Johnny (Wendy) Morgan and Jennifer Fischer; and the great-grandmother of nine. She will be missed by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Clara formerly attended Living Word Baptist Church in Sweet Valley. She loved attending bingo and especially loved working on word puzzles with a "good cup of coffee and a goodie." She loved the time that she was able to spend with her family. Forever we will cherish the priceless memories that she leaves behind.
A private service will be held, where she will be laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Williams-Hagen Funeral Home, Plymouth.
