Constance "Connie" Sosnowski, 86, of Wyoming, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022, at her home.
Born in Plains Twp., she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Sophie Kasaba Sudnick.
Connie was an active member of St. Frances Cabrini Church and a member of the Franklin Twp. Fire Company Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, baking and bird watching, but most of all enjoyed spending time with family.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony "Tony"; sister, Anna Mae Sudnick; and brother, Joseph Sudnick.
Surviving are her children, Mary Sosnowski; Barbara and husband, Robert Ambrose, Harveys Lake; Linda Sosnowski, Willow Grove; Mark Sosnowski and wife, Lucy, Plains; granddaughters, Liz Ambrose, Charlotte, N.C.; Katie Mooney and husband, Stephen, Shavertown; and Jill Ambrose, Montrose; brother, John Sudnick and wife, Mary Ann, Greenville, S.C.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday from Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 585 Mt. Olivet Road, Carverton. The Rev. Vincent Dang will officiate. Interment will be held in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Sacred Heart, Dementia Society of America at www.DementiaSociety.org; or Rescue Warriors Cat Rescue, 539 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston, PA 18643.
