Corrine "Corky" Gai, 93, formerly of West Pittston, went to be with the Lord on October 11, 2024, at the Meadows Manor following a brief illness.
Corrine was born in West Pittston and was a daughter of the late Albert and Mary Polanski Gai. She attended West Pittston High School. Corrine was a member of the former St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter, now Corpus Christi Parish.
Corrine was the last remaining of her 12 siblings.
The past six years Corky's two nephews, Thomas Jeffery (wife Susan) of Birdsboro; and Joseph Jeffery cared for her and loved her so very much. Corrine also has several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family is most grateful to the Meadows Manor staff and Allied Services Hospice Care for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations to be made to the Meadows Manor Personal Care Center, 200 Lake Street, Dallas, PA 18612.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in Corpus Christi Parish (Immaculate Conception Church) at 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston. Interment will follow in Mountain View Burial Park, Harding. Family and friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until Mass at 11 a.m. at the church.

I´m so sorry to hear of Corkys passing. I had the pleasure of meeting her and her sister when they were at the Meadows Manor together. Two very nice ladies. Sending condolences
