Cynthia Drevenak Obituary
Cynthia A. Drevenak passed away after a short battle with cancer Sunday, July 9, 2023.
Cindi was born May 31, 1963, and was a CNA at Kingston Health Care and formerly worked at First General Services for many years prior to their closing in 2021.
She enjoyed spending time with family, cooking family dinners every holiday and being with her children and grandsons. Cindi was a very selfless person who would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need and was the rock and glue to her family.
Cindi was the most hard-working woman you could ever meet, and she will definitely be missed for the rest of our days.
Cindi was preceded in death by her father, Charles Engler; mother, Maryann Vanderlick Engler; father-in-law, Andrew Drevenak; and brothers-in-law, Andy, Bobby and David Drevenak.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Joseph; son, Joseph Jr. "Joey"; daughter, Kayla "Miss Lizz"; her three grandsons, Tristian, Maddox and Alias; mother-in-law, Mary Drevenak; brothers, Kevin, Charles Jr. and Robert Engler; sisters-in-law, Cheryl, Barb, Carolann and Sarina; brother-in-law, James; many nieces and nephews who are going to miss her dinners and hearing, "If you leave here hungry, that's your fault"; she will also be missed by a friend-turned-son, Chucky McCabe.
A celebration of Cindi's life will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre. You are welcome to share photos and stories of Cindi.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the family to help them during this difficult time.

I´m very sorry for your loss. My name is Joanne I´m her cousin and I´m very sorry that I could not make it up there. She was a wonderful woman and I remember playing outside and hanging out with her. We have had a Lotta good times she will be missed.

Was shocked to hear of Cindy's passing. Cindy was one of the CNA's taking care of our mother. Always had a smile and kind words to say. Was so helpful and gentle with her. We so appreciated it and always thanked her. She will be missed.

Cyndi was one of the most selfless people I had the pleasure of having in my life! We had so much fun together. She was always there for me and even though I moved away still always checked on me. My beautiful 20 yr old daughter Shay was murdered at the end of 2018 and we had to take her off life support and let her go in the beginning of 2019 and she was always checking to make sure I was still breathing and didn't do anything stupid! She was always there when I needed to talk. She was an amazing women. She will be missed by so many!! I hope she gives my baby girl a big hug for me!!
