A decorated Marine and loving father, Daniel George Drevenak Sr., 89, of Exeter, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at his residence.
Born in Wilkes-Barre Twp. on April 26, 1935, he was one of eight children of the late Andrew and Anna Sterfro Drevenak. Dan was employed as a truck driver for the Nachlis Furniture, Plains Twp., until the business closure.
Dan was a proud Marine and patriot. He enjoyed playing darts in the Dukey's Dart League, bowling in the league at Modern Lanes, going fishing when he could and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his loving wife, Ann Marie; sister, Janet Brenner; brothers, Andrew, Robert and John.
He is survived by his children, Rose Marie Bieble, Shickshinny; Diane Mitchell, Larksville; Elaine Delzeit, Wilkes-Barre; Daniel Jr., North Carolina; and Stanley, Kingston; sisters, Betty Bianoci, Sugar Notch; Anna Mae Yelland, Plains Twp.; and Mary Popovitch, Wilkes-Barre; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Daniel will be laid to rest in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with military funeral honors in a private service for his loving family.
