Diane Hooker Obituary

Diane M. Kittle Hooker, 54, a resident of Wilkes-Barre, joined her heavenly family on Sunday, March 17, 2019, after a short battle with cancer.

Born March 28, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Bertha Kittle. Diane was talented in many ways, she loved to cook, enjoyed taking photos for weddings, loved autographs, country music and was the best caregiver you will ever meet.

She graduated from Lake-Lehman High School and attended Lynchburg University. She worked for RCN in Wilkes-Barre for many years.

She joined her father, Robert; mother, Bertha; brother, Kerry; and sisters, Sheila and Cheryl, for a reunion in heaven.

Diane is survived by her husband, John; sister, Karen Baltier and husband, Albert; brother, Kenneth Kittle and wife, Kristen; and nephew, Angelo Baltier; sister-in-laws, Helen Krause; Jane McGirr and John; Catherine Moore and husband, Major; brother-in-law, Robert Hooker Jr. and wife, Lisa; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Our family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of the Sacred Heart (especially Pat, who was amazing with her) for the kindness and compassion in her final days. We would also like to thank her RCN family for all the love and support. Also, thanks to her niece, Nicole Krause, who went above and beyond to make sure she was with her aunt every night and day.

To our very dear sister, it was truly an honor to have you for a sister. No one can ever replace you and you will be missed more than you know. We will listen in the quiet time of day to hear that laugh of yours. She will be sadly missed by her shelties and cats. Till we see you again in heaven. We love you, Diane - you were the best.

Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains Twp.

Family and friends are asked to go directly to the church services to be held at 8 a.m. Saturday in Living Word Baptist Church, 40 Hess Lane, Sweet Valley, with the Rev. Raymond Purdy, pastor, officiating. Interment will be held in the Kittle Cemetery, Sweet Valley.

Dear John and many family members, I will never forget when you and Diane started working at CLD . She always had a way of making everyone laugh who was within hearing distance of HER laugh. John, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
