Donald Bachman Obituary
Mr. Bachman was born in Wilkes-Barre, son of Donald A. Bachman, Plains Township, and Christine Yatsko Bachman Cherkauskas, Wilkes-Barre Township, and was a graduate of GAR Memorial High School, Wilkes-Barre. He also attended several trade schools and had been employed by Modern Plastics, Wilkes-Barre, and for 20 years he had worked for his uncle and godfather, Fred Bianchino, trading as Fred's Garage, Wilkes-Barre. He was presently a master mechanic with the Delaware Water Gap Terminal, Martz Group.
He was a community activist and looked out for his neighbors and friends in the Willow Street area, reporting any unlawful activity. He valued his family and friends, and enjoyed being with them.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Lori Fisher Bachman, at home; daughter, Jessica Bachman, Wilkes-Barre; stepdaughters, Kiesha Dias and Kendra Dias, both of Hanover Township; grandchildren, Aiden and Karson; sister, Judi Comisky, Wilkes-Barre.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at H. Merritt Hughes Funeral Home Inc., a Golden Rule Funeral Home, 451 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 p.m. until service time.
The family requests that flowers be omitted and that memorial donations be made to Donald A. Bachman Memorial Fund, c/o Luzerne Bank, Public Square Office, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.

Dear Tina,
