Fred T. Miller, 72, of Kosciuszko Street, Nanticoke, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021, at his residence.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on Jan. 14, 1949, he was the son of the late Fred. R. and Wanda Terrasavage.
Fred served his country proudly by serving in both the U.S. Marine Corps (Vietnam) and the Pennsylvania National Guard. He received three Purple Hearts and a Silver Star. He continued to serve by becoming the commander to American Legion Post 350, Nanticoke.
He was formerly employed at the Department of Veterans Medical Center in the dietary department.
Fred was preceded in death by his wife, Joann.
Surviving are sons, Joseph, Reece Jones, Fred Miller Jr. and Craig Miller; grandson, Brenden; and brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday from the Earl W. Lohman Funeral Home Inc., 14 W. Green St., Nanticoke.
