Froso Papadoplos Obituary
Froso Papadoplos, 87, formerly of Larksville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021, at Riverstreet Manor, Wilkes-Barre, where she was a guest for the past week.
Born Feb. 9, 1934, in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Stella Axiotis Collins and Louis Collins. She was a graduate of Liberty High School, Bethlehem, and Rider College, Trenton, N.J. Prior to her retirement, she was a real estate agent and property manager for Pennrose Management Company.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Theodore; brother-in-law, Jack Phass; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, George and Helen Papadoplos.
Surviving are her children, son, Theodore Jr., with whom she resided, Wilkes-Barre Twp.; son, Louis Papadoplos and his wife, Mary, Lancaster; daughter, Sophia and her husband, Mark Mangan, Larksville; grandchildren, Alex Papadoplos, Reno, Nev.; Nikki Papadoplos Kuder and her husband, Mike, Bethel Park; and Mark J. Mangan, Philadelphia; brother, Andrew and his wife, Georgia, Bethlehem; sister-in-law, Catherine Phass, Alexandria, Va.; and several nephews and a niece.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 32 E. Ross St., Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Gabriel Nicholas presiding. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday with a Trisiagion Service at 6 p.m. at Hugh B. Hughes & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 32 E. Ross St., Wilkes-Barre, PA, 18702.
