Genevieve Shebloski Obituary
She was born in Plymouth on Oct. 7, 1917, the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Gillis Mikelonis.
Jennie, as she was affectionately known to many, lived her entire life in Plymouth, where she attended Plymouth area schools. She was employed as a machine operator by United Pants Co., Plymouth, until her retirement in 1984.
She was a member of All Saints Church, Plymouth. Mrs. Shebloski was also a former member of the Christian Mothers Club of St. Mary's Nativity Church, Plymouth, and the Senior Citizens Group of Dan Flood Tower, Plymouth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in 1982; daughter, Patricia (Patsy) Shebloski, in 1945; two brothers; and one sister, Helen.
Surviving are her son, Frank Shebloski and his wife, Marie, Plymouth; daughter, Rita Tomko and her husband, Dave, Warrior Run; granddaughter, Maria Lynn, Havre de Grace, Md.; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Nadine and Nina; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. from George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 105 N. Main St., Ashley, with a Mass of Christian Burial in All Saints Church, Willow Street, Plymouth. Interment will be in St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery, Plymouth Township. Friends may call Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

I'll always remember what a happy and caring person Jennie was and what a good friend and neighbor she was to my grandmother. It was a priveledge to see her every time we visited.
