Jacob E. "Jack" Turcan, an avid hunter and fisherman, entered into rest Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023, at his home in Harveys Lake.
He was the son of the late William and Mary Baloh Turcan. Jack was retired from Procter & Gamble with 27 years of service.
Jack was very active in the Harveys Lake Gun Club and served as a director. Jack was involved in Pheasants Forever with their annual youth hunt.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother, William.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Rita Turcan; sister, Mary and husband, John; sister-in-law, Deanna; brother-in-law, Alex and his wife, Janet; sister-in-law, Terry; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
The funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are from Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., Shavertown.
