Jim was a wonderful friend. I knew him over 40 years. The past four years very few days passed where we didn´t talk or see each other. He had so many people who cared for him because he never met a stranger. Jim talked to everyone and made friends everywhere he went. May you be at rest now my friend. God has another Angel.

I would like to extend my condolences to Jim's relatives, and friends I was not acquainted with. Jim, and I worked together from 1988 to 2009, then great friends in our retirement. Jim never forgot a birthday, or a Christmas card with a train on it. I will miss him a lot. I was blessed to have him as my friend.

Jimmy and I shared the same Dr. Halperin where we met years ago.

He was always a gentleman to me and we shared a friendship built on integrity and Sharing of difficult times.

He called me just over two days before he died to say goodbye and to let me know Archbishop Thomas Winski came to visit him and give him his final last rites.

I know that he was ready to see Jesus and of course his dearly beloved mother.

There was always something going up and down during me four years I knew him but he never stopped giving up. He enjoy your life to its fullest !!

I´m proud that he was my Friend and I no doubt I will see him again.

We made a promise that we would pray for each other and I know from the bottom of my heart and soul that he is in heaven.

LoveHonorRespect,
Barbara

Jim was a great man. He was my filed training officer when I joined the Miami-Dade Police Department in 2000. We became friends and I really cared for him. Jim was rough on the outside but sweet on the inside. Everyone who really knew him knew exactly what I´m taking about. You will be greatly missed Jim. May you rest in eternal peace.
