So sad to hear of Joe's passing. He died the same age as my dad and same month. My parents thought highly of Joe and his wife and we enjoyed the chats through the years at the Pineno family reunions. He will surely leave a hole in the lives of his family but will always hold fond memories in their hearts. Our condolences to Rose and family. Beth & David Barron

Joe was a wonderful first cousin, with a great sense of humor. He organized a number of family reunions- no small feat.
Growing up together he took his turn working in our grocery store, with a few pranks in the process.
We both served on the USS Forrestal CVA-59 although at different times, his a more difficult duty station.
He kept the rest of the Pineno cousins informed, a reflection of his concerns for others. He will be sorely missed.
