Justin Lucchino Obituary
Justin was surrounded by love and friendship until the end, attesting to the joy that he brought to the lives of everyone who he touched. Justin was a special person who was unbounded in his love for life, his family and friends and, of course, his car books. He had a kind heart, a gentle soul and was quick to offer a kiss on the hand or a bit of empathy when someone was feeling down. Those who knew him will remember someone whose smile could light up a football stadium and whose mirth could fill anyone with laughter.
Justin led a full life in his short time on earth, travelling to Europe, visiting multiple beaches, riding in a hot air balloon and attending weddings near and far, among other things. He opened a world of people and goodness to his family that would have otherwise been unknown and taught us the meaning of acceptance and love without exception.
Justin lived for much of his life in communities that value the philosophy of anthroposophy, which recognizes each individual's spiritual wholeness and has an appreciation for each person's ability to contribute. We are incredibly happy that his life was filled with people who saw his wonderful spirit as we did and loved him as much as we do. He will forever be missed by people across the globe.
Justin is survived by his loving parents, Dr. David and Maureen; siblings, Caitlin and David; devoted aunt and uncle, Patsy and Fred Straus; cousins, Michael (Danielle), their daughter, Hunter, and Caroline Straus; and uncles, Robert (Judy) and Ronald (Bonnie) Lucchino and their families.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake, at 1 p.m. July 21.
Memorial contributions may be made to Justin's cherished home for most of his last 20 years, the Four Winds Community, 32 Colburn Road, Temple, NH 03084.

The sweet memories of how Justin connected with people have been on my mind these days. With his big eyes, he communicated so much. He demanded little, and accepted all help with gratitude. Thank you Maureen and David for sharing your dear sons life with so many. Blessings on this summertime here, and in the unseen as well.

Dear David and Maureen,
By some miracle you found a community for Justin that would accept and appreciate him and provide the caring and love that he grew up with. I remember how hard and frightening it was to entrust him to another family at that time, but the choice let him continue to flourish in a larger world, with his home family always there also. I remember walking into the house one day, and somehow Justin noticed a bandaid on my finger. I don't know how he could see it, but he noticed and responded to many small things. He rushed over and pointed to my hand and looked very upset. It must be great challenge to live with such sensitivity. But you, in your lives and in the ones you found to add to that, let him flourish. He always gave back, and as others have said he shared joy and humor wonderfully. I'm very sorry for the sudden loss of Justin from your family's daily life. I'm sure he knew how much he was loved by all of you. Thank you for what you gave to the special person that he was.
