Kathleen "Kathy" Susan King, 55 of Seminole, Fla., passed away with family and loved ones by her side Saturday, July 24, 2021, in Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, Fla.
Kathy was born June 15, 1966, in Erie, to Susan Carroll and Samuel Vogan. Kathy attended Central Regional High School in Bayville, N.J. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree in human resources at King's College and worked for Paychex as a payroll specialist.
Kathy is survived by her three daughters who made up the entirety of her world, Clarissa (Brian) Madajewski, 31, Amanda King, 29, and Frederique King, 21.
Besides her children, she is survived by her grandson, who was the light of her life, Greyson Morris; brother, Timothy (Candida) Vogan; sister, Peggy Etheridge; nieces, Kaela (Aaron) Mann; Trista and Sierra Vogan; Brynn Courtright; and her nephews, Hunter (Storm) Vogan; Brandon Courtright; and Bailey Vogan.
Kathy enjoyed the simple pleasures life had to offer, but being a Jersey girl, she felt most peaceful at the beach. Her gypsy soul led her to Florida, where she met the love of her life and companion, Jeffri Dudas. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities. Her personality was contagious and her laugh could fill up a crowded room. She was the most selfless woman and would give you the shirt off her back without hesitation. Her cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to know her.
A celebration of her life will be held in her honor with family and close friends.
