I am so sad to read about the passing of Mrs. Bonczek! As a child, I spent many special times in her warm & cosy kitchen .....doing my homework with my friend, Barbara. I learned to love Polish food!

I cherish two memories:

March 19: The Feast of Saint Joseph - When Father Pete Zardecki, Pastor of Saints Peter and Paul RC Church, would bless every home in his parish!

Holy Saturday - When Mrs. Bonczyk would prepare a basket of food and I would walk with Barbara to the church; where Father Pete would bless the food for the Easter Sunday Dinner!

Sleep well , Mrs. Bonczyk, with Mr. Bonczyk, John Jr., your parents., and your siblings. ✝
