Lori Kuhns Obituary
Lori Ann Kuhns, 53, of the Parsons section of Wilkes-Barre, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.
She was born Aug. 30, 1969, in Kingston, a daughter of Carl Kuhns, of Parsons, and the late Joann Monteforte Kuhns. Lori was a graduate of Coughlin High School and was employed in the bakery department at Schiel's grocery store in Parsons.
Lori enjoyed shopping, restaurants, occasional trips to New York City, the beach and movies. Mostly she enjoyed spending time with her many adoring friends.
Her innocence and caring heart will never be forgotten. In addition to her mother, Lori was preceded in death by her grandparents, Samuel and Carmella Monteforte and Mildred Kuhns.
Surviving are her father, Carl Kuhns and his wife, Janet Straub; brother, Carl Kuhns Jr.; nephews, Christian and Cuyler; aunt, Marion; uncle, Jack Tetlak; cousins; and dear friends.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Hudson Road, Plains Twp. The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church.
In addition to prayers, donations may be made to Lori's family at 20 Espy St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705.
