Lori Pascoe Obituary

Lori Jane Morgan Pascoe, 48, of Hawley died unexpectedly Tuesday in Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton.

Mom always believe that everything happens for a reason; blessings spawn new hope, challenges muster unfound courage and death reminds us to forgive and bind close to those you love.

To say Mom will be missed is an understatement. Her kind, gentle spirit left a lasting impression on all those she met, facing every obstacle with determination and her signature smile.

Mom was more than just another friend or family member.

She lent a compassionate ear and comforting shoulder to anyone in need, always putting others' troubles before her own in what she termed her "curse."

Her legacy of love and generosity will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Lori was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary; father, Doug.

She leaves behind a daughter, Nicole Branning, Beach Lake; son, David Pascoe, Colorado Springs, Colo.; mother, Lois; sisters, Barbara Mac Nair and Connie Morris; sweetheart, William Gutman; and a large extended family.

A viewing will be held Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m., at Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, Honesdale.

Memorial donations may be made to the Dessin Animal Shelter, Honesdale.

Wake us up from this bad dream! To think that less than 72hours before God called you home, we were all together celebrating, laughing, catching up on life and family. He must have needed you more thanwe do. I guess your work was complete here on earth, but we disagree. I'm sure we could have put your talents to work in many ways. You always had a "creative flair" which was evident at the party just a few hours before. We will miss you!!
To the family and friends left to mourn, our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We are always here if you ever need us. Be strong, have Faith and always remember, you are loved.
With deepest sympathy,
