Margaret Laskowski Obituary

Margaret A. Laskowski, 85, of Dupont died early Sunday morning at The Jewish Home, Scranton, where she had been a guest for two years.

She was the widow of the late Charles H. Laskowski, who died in 1997.

Born in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harlan and Susan Kasula Bullock. She attended Dupont schools and was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont.

Primarily a homemaker, she was a very loving mother and grandmother who loved life and all its joys.

She is survived by sons, Charles, Wilmington, Del.; James and wife, Roxanne, Falls; daughter, Anna Corcoran and husband, Jerry, Justis; grandchildren, Linda Carlini, Lisa Ciccaglione, Jerry Corcoran, Kim Corcoran, Joelene Gavek, James Laskowski, Jamie Horowitz, four step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Cecilia Walter and daughters-in-law, Connie and Charlotte Laskowski.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 9:30 from Ruane & Regan Funeral Home, 1308 Grove St., Avoca, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Lackawanna Ave., Dupont, with the Rev. Joseph Verespy officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, 5 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff of The Jewish Home for their unwavering and compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Jewish Home, 1101 Vine St., Scranton, PA 18510.
