Melanie Nagel Obituary
She was born April 21, 1918, in Glen Lyon, to the late Joseph and Caroline Nagorski.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Narcy Joseph Nagel and Bernard (Bernie) Charles Nagel; aunts, Anne Stepinski, Rose Adamski, Tillie Butkowski; and uncles, Charles and Joseph Ruptic.
She is survived by cousin Mary Lou (Francis) Zaleski and family, Glen Lyon; nieces, Karen (Keith) Reiss, Melanie Robbins, Mary Christine Beck, all of Wilmington, N.C.; and Kristine (Dee) Pellissier, Columbus, Ohio. She is loved and remembered by many grandnieces and grandnephews and great-grandnieces and grandnephews.
Following careers in banking (New York City) and insurance (Columbus) she retired to enjoy a faith filled and modest life.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43220. Friends may call 30 minutes prior to the Mass in the church vestibule. Private interment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Arrangements by Egan-Ryan Northwest Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Building Fund at St. Andrew Catholic Church at the above address.

I don't know where too begin with Melanie she was a sweet. Kind hearted lady. I had the pleasure of seeing Melanie everyday at Abington and everyday she always had a smile on her face. She always used too tell me too not work too hard. Always loving and caring I could go on an on. I have so many memoires I will cherish forever..
My heart goes too the family during this time. ♥❤
Melanie you will forever be missed.
You touched my life in more ways then one.
Heaven was ready for you and I understand. See you later my friend.

Auntie Mel was the best! Always had a smile & just enjoyed life. SHE ABSOLUTLY loved her family. 98 years old says she was doing something RIGHT! She is in a much better place & has joined all who went before her.

Melanie was a wonderful lady. She was full of gratitude and beautiful inside and out. We miss her so much. She was loved and will be in all of our memories forever. May peace be with all of you during this time and may her memory live inside all of your hearts. Sending love from Abbington!
