My deepest condolences to the Kane family during this difficult time. PJ was my Teener League baseball coach for two years in East End and under his guidance we posted a record of 30-3 and won the championship in 1972! He was, without a doubt, the best coach I ever had! He was a tough but fair coach who got the most out of his players and I have many fond memories of him from that time in my life! He will surely be missed by the many people he inspired and whose lives he touched!

Thoughts and prayers are with the Kane family. I had the honor of being one of his students. He was not your average teacher. he was very supportive and always found the good skill set in each and every student. Mr. Kane always had words of encouragement to offer to all his students. Teachers like him who never give up help students find their way. I was one of them. I am very grateful to have known him. May god bless your family and friends. RIP Mr. Kane. You will never be forgotten. Thank you for always believing in me.

To Mr. Kane's Family: Please know of my thoughts and prayers at this sad time. I had the good fortune to be taught by many teachers in my years at Hanover Area and others in college and graduate school. Without a doubt, Mr. Kane is among the most consequential teachers in my life. He exuded joy, taught with conviction, and inspired me and others to strive for excellence in our studies. Above all, Mr. Kane was exceedingly kind and always available to be a source of support to his students. One of the finest men I've ever encountered. Rest in peace, Mr. Kane. May God give you, his family and closest friends, peace and consolation.

To the Kane family:
My sympathies on the loss of P.J. A fellow Coughlin grad (class of '67) and good friend back in the day, I remember his athletic ability quite well. However, he was a better person that I looked up to and admired for his tenacity towards life. Although I haven't seen him in many years, (I left the valley in 1972) I often wondered where life took him. So sorry!

May your soul rest in peace, my friend.
