I'm so sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. I remember growing up, hearing about what a great football player, then coach he was. I know he was a great family man, with a beautiful wife and family. I'm sorry I will be unable to attend the services, but I will keep Bobby in my prayers.

Dear Nicholas, Maria & family. Sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. I had the privilege of playing for your pop from 1969 to 1971. Obviously, he was a hall of fame coach but quite honestly he was an outstanding human being. During my formative years he guided me to become the man I turned out to be. May he rest in peace.

Coach was an inspiration to many of us. He will be missed, but his memory will live on in those of us who played for him. He taught many life lessons on the gridiron. I can hear those lessons every day, and I tried to pass those same lessons to all those I've coached or taught, including my children and grandchildren. I learned there is no "I" in "team," and that "winners never quit.". These and other words and acts of wisdom he passed to us will be with me for life.
