Robert Dudick Obituary

Robert A. "Bob" Dudick, age 67, of Nanticoke, died Saturday, July 26, 2014, in the Hospice Unit of Geisinger South Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.

Bob was born Sept. 17, 1947 in Passaic, NJ, a son of the late Henry and Sophia (Palka) Dudick. He attended the Ashely-Sugar Notch Schools.

Bob was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. During his later years, one of his greatest enjoyments was watching his grandchildren's athletic events.

Bob was last employed by the Men's Warehouse of Pittston.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Ellen (Svetz) Dudick, whom he married Oct. 26, 1965; three daughters, Lisa Sarnak and husband, Michael, of Nanticoke; Lynn Grabowski and husband, William, of Nanticoke; and Leah Biniek and husband, Thomas Jr., of Plymouth; seven grandchildren, Michael Sarnak, Hollianne Parsons, Gabrielle Grabowski, Arica Grabowski, Kara Voyton, Hanna Voyton and Emma Biniek; three brothers: Henry Dudick, Edward Dudick and Richard Dudick.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded by a sister: Debbie Patronick.

A time of visitation for friends and family will be held Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Davis-Dinelli Funeral Home, 170 East Broad St., Nanticoke. Memorial services will begin at 6 p.m. with Rev. John Hammerly, of Nanticoke First Assembly of God Church officiating. A private interment will be at the convenience of the family.
