Robert S. Jackloski Sr.

Robert S. Jackloski Sr., of Main Street, Plains Twp., passed away at his home on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Plains Twp. on Dec. 12, 1943, he was the son of the late Albert R. and Mary V. Voitus Jackloski.

He was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School. Robert was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church. He worked in the manufacturing business at Prestige Shoes, Suburban Publishing and then retiring from Quebec Co. in Hazleton.

Robert will be deeply missed by his wife of 48 years, Carol (Kucirka) Jackloski; his son, Robert (Robbie) Jr.; grandchildren, Stephen and Brittney; and great-granddaughter, Lyrica. He is also survived by his sister, Alberta Kosloski and her husband, Gerald, Stanhope, N.J.; brother, John and his wife, Carol, Wyoming; sisters, Marilyn Starna and her husband, Robert, Pittston Twp.; Cheryl Hritz and her husband, John, Plains Twp.; Linda Elmy and her husband, James, Wilkes-Barre; and Ann Marie Banks and her husband, Bernard, Wilkes-Barre. Robert is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Robert will be greatly missed by his family.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday from Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains Twp., with a Panachida service at 9 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Kerestes, pastor of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary G R Cemetery, Lake Street, Dallas. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
