Stanley Levendoski of Mountain Top died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2023, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Born in Plymouth Twp., he was the son of the late Stanley and Beatrice Cyron Levendoski. He was a graduate of Harter High School and then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.
He then moved to Nanticoke and worked for the Diocesan Guild Studios, and then retired from the King Fifth Wheel Company, Mountain Top, where he was very proud of his career in international sales.
He is survived by his wife, the former Karen Kozak, they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in November; sisters, Phyllis Golubiewski and brother-in-law Mike; Jean Innamorati, brother-in-law, Ronald Kozak; sister-in-law, Donna; godchild, Tia Rasmus; and nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and many faithful and caring friends and faithful companion, Minnie.
Viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McCune Funeral Home, 80 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Nicholas Church, 226 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre. Those attending are asked to go directly to the church Friday morning. Internment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
