Thomas Resavage Obituary
Born in Luzerne, son of the late Stanley and Irene Molecavage Resavage. He was a graduate of Luzerne High School, Class of 1958.
He served his country as a member of the Army National Guard, 109th Field Artillery.
He worked for Malpass and Sordoni Construction companies for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Laborers International Union, Local 215, Wilkes-Barre. He was an excellent cement finisher. Prior to his retirement, he worked for Luzerne Iron Works.
He was a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne.
He loved hunting, fishing, polkas and Penn State. In addition, he enjoyed spending time at the family summer home on Sylvan Lake in Sweet Valley.
He was a courageous man who bravely withstood all the trials and tribulations that life had in store for him.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, the former Dolores A. Shamis, Swoyersville; sons, Thomas A. Resavage and his wife, Angela, Wyoming; David Resavage, at home; daughter, Lisa Stash and her husband, Larry, Oxford, Chester County; grandchildren, Hunter and Forrest Resavage and Victor and Alina Stash; brother, Robert Resavage and his wife, Elizabeth, Swoyersville; numerous nieces and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Holy Family Parish, Bennett Street, Luzerne. Interment will be in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Muhlenburg. Friends may call Monday, 5 to 8 p.m., at the church.

Tommy and Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathies at this time. I met your dad on my first job in the trades 24 years ago.Every time I go fishing I think of him when I open my box and see the jigs he made for me. I will continue to due that. My god bless you and your family.

While growing up and living with our grandmother, Tommy was my cousin and best friend. We killed many an a badman out the front upstairs window of her house. We shared a lot during those days 47-50. He will missed by many. God bless you and enjoy the pleasures of heaven. Jack

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. Though I had only known Mr Resavage for a short time...he touched my heart and I will remember him always.
