Thomas Rusnak Obituary
Mr. Rusnak was born in Kingston on March 2, 1943, and was the son of the late Thomas Sr. and Caroline Cigarski Rusnak.
Tom was a 1960 graduate of Lake Lehman High School and was employed by B.G. Coon Construction, Luzerne, for 20 years and later became sole proprietor of Lehman Power Equipment for 28 years, retiring two years ago.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lake Silkworth, and was a fourth-degree Knight of Columbus and a Lake Silkworth Lion's Club member.
Tom enjoyed fishing in Canada and at his home in Beaufort, S.C., hunting, working outside in the yard, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was always willing to help family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Rusnak.
Tom is survived by his wife, the former Mildred Pavlick, and they would have celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on July 3; daughters, Stacey Novak and her husband, John, and Heather Rusnak, both of Newport Township; sister, Emily Bruno, Dallas; and grandchildren, Kelsey, Johnny, and Ashley.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home Inc., Routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lake Silkworth, with the Rev. Richard Fox officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations to be made to Hospice Community Care, 601 Wyoming Ave., Kingston, PA 18704.

Memories of childhood come back of all the fun times we shared together on the farm. Tom was a once in a lifetime positive person that could turn your world around by just being in his company.
