Victoria Brong Obituary
She was born in Scranton on Aug. 10, 1991, daughter of Kevin T. Brong of Montrose and Ruth Escott Kohut of Tunkhannock.
She was a graduate of Tunkhannock High School, Class of 2010 and was employed by Weis Markets in Tunkhannock as an assistant tag manager. Victoria loved helping people and cherished time she spent with her son and family.
Surviving are a son, Kevin D. Brong; companion, Bill Spickerman; sisters, Ashley Brong, Tunkhannock; Marcia Cronin, Forty Fort; and Melissa Baker, Montrose; an uncle, Ben Butler, of Nicholson; maternal grandmother, Delores Smith, Carbondale; paternal grandparents, Beverly Narconis, Wadesworth, Ohio; and Harold Brong, Bethlehem.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Monday in Grace Fellowship Church, 155 Bridge St., Tunkhannock, with the Rev. Mike Conroy, pastor, officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.
Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the Kevin D. Brong Educational Fund, c/o Peoples Security Bank, Tunkhannock, Pa.

Although I did not personally know you, I just wanted to say you're not forgotten. Your kind face... I'm sure you are greatly missed by your loved ones. May your soul continue to rest in peace. My condolences to her family and friends, and especially her child.

Please accept my deepest sympathy in the tragic loss of Victoria. There are not any words that can express my heartfelt sympathy for the family. Victoria was in my 7th grade reading class. She was such a joy and pleasure to have in class. She always had a smile on her face and was always so friendly to her classmates. One of my favorite memories was when we did participate in discussion and literature circles. She would always have a smile on her face and enjoyed interacting with her friends. These past days have been a struggle, I can't imagine what the family is going through. But when tears come I reflect back to her smile, her kindness and how friendly she was to all her classmates. I hope you will always be able to recall her smile. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
