Sandra Lynne McGrew-Webster

1941 - 2023

Sandra Lynne McGrew-Webster passed away on March 13 at the age of 82, due to complications from cancer. She was brave and retained her sense of humor and wise words to the very end.
Sandra was born to Gale Leonard McGrew and Oreal Altha Keene, but raised by her father and adoptive mother, Virginia Louise Moses-McGrew. Most of her childhood was spent on a farm in Round Mountain, California, outside of Redding, where she graduated from Enterprise High School in 1958.
She was a schoolteacher for 35 years, mostly with the third grade at Larchmont Elementary School in the Rio Linda School District. Sandra also was a world traveler, enjoying cruises and more. She liked to swing dance and did so later in her life.
Sandra had a great appreciation for humor and enjoyed making people smile, even at her own expense through her eccentric wardrobe and jewelry.
Sandra was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, friend, teacher and matriarch:
Now, she is dancing in Heaven!
She loved her family and is survived by her son, Kelly Alan Webster, and her four grandchildren: Daniel Calum Webster, Nathan Riley Webster, Hailey Grace Larimer and Jillian Dawn Reynolds.
Her final words were "Leave 'em Laughing and Dancing!"
A memorial service will be held on April 1, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Reichert's Funeral Services, 7320 Auburn Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA.
