I know this is a very late entry but I wanted you to know Bruce and I were friends at Paulene South and the first half of our ninth grade year at Washburn Rural HS. My dad retired (from FAFB) that year and we moved back to Texas. Bruce was a faithful friend and a good athlete as well. He is thought of and missed.

Well Beetle, you finaly made it to the stars. Flying so high,just remembering when we were young. Just out of High School and life was just infront of us. You maried your love Debbie, had 2 beaftiful daughters, got a good job, settled down, paid taxes, had a good life, still have many of us to remember what a unique charater, jovial person, and darn good guy you were. How lucky we were to have you in our lives. You made us richer and more rounded for that. Thank you for being in my life.

Dear "Beetle Family", I was so very sad to see Beetle has gone on home to heaven. I worked with Beetle in 1971 at McDonalds. You know a person is pretty incredible when after all these years I still think fondly of him. He was the kindest man and I'm sure a great son,husband,father and grandpa. I know he loved all of you.
