Cherryl Deghand Obituary

Cherryl K. Deghand Cherryl K. Deghand, 71, of Salina, passed away, Friday, January 8, 2016. She was born November 5, 1944 to the late Robert L. and LaVonne (Canrobert) Blankenship in Clarksville, AR. Cherryl was an avid doll collector and loved cats, especially her companion Leonardo, an 18 year old cat, who would sit on the arm of her chair, will join her. In her spare time she enjoyed reading. Survivors include her husband, Paul Bud of the home; children; Craig Deghand of Salina and Michelle Thiem of North Platte, NE; brother, Jerry Blankenship, of Topeka; sister, Tammy Blankenship, of Topeka; grandchild, Danielle Ceder of Columbus, NE; great-grandchild, Jackson Ceder. A rosary service will be 9:00 a.m. Thursday, January 14, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Salina with memorial service following at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Topeka. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina or St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and are in care of Ryan Mortuary 137 North Eighth Street Salina, Kansas 67401.

So sorry to hear of Cherri's passing. Haven't seen you guys since your children were little. Thank you for the comment about Leonardo, what a comfort to know about special companions. Bud, I wish you days of sweet memories and precious time with your family.
