Wakes family and friends: I'm so sorry to hear of your tragic loss. I didnt know David real well, I just knew him through Emma and when I played ball with Michelle. I can not even begin to know how you all feel. Not only was he a son, brother, father, and fiance', but he was a very nice person in general. I remember DJ running around, playing baseball when Robert and I were on the same summer baseball teams back when we were all a lot younger. MY son ANthony was born the day after his little girl, In Dec. of 2006, My Mom saw Him In the hospital & told Him I was there, I was getting ready to feed my son & as I herd a knock on the door, in walked David, with a big smile on his face, he had come to see my new addition, he sat & talked with me for a lil bit & told me that my son looke djsut like me & I 'd be a great mother. proir to then I seen him when I was 7 mo. preg. at the gas station on cali. he asked if I remembered him, then he of corse had to throw in a comment, " i thought I would never see you that fat" LOL, David you will be missed my all. my prayers go out the the family, & to his mother & children, there are no words to express your pain, my deepest condolences are for you. To David's family, I've known David since 7th grade and he was always super sweet, giving and kind to everyone who crossed his path. Honestly in all these years I think I may have seen him angry once, he really was an awesome guy and I will miss seeing him with that cheesy smile out here in these streets. David went well before his time but I know he is in a better place, I'm sure of that.
