My Mom, Ann Wessel told me today of Edith's passing. I recall with fond memories of Ray & Edith, their kindness and babysitting for some of the girls when I was a teenager. The last time Mom and I saw Ray and Edith was at the mall when they were walking together. A wonderful family...Edith will be missed. Love, Chuck & Joyce Henry

I want to convey my most heartfelt sympathy and prayers to the family. My most favorite memory of Edith was when I started 1st grade and we all had to walk the mile home from school on the hwy9 past her farm.Being 6 years old I took off my shoes and the recently oiled and sealed hwy was fresh and black. My new white socks were almost ruined so she set out to soak and clean them so Mom wouldn't be upset with me.She always had cold drink or cinnamon rolls to refresh us kids..in later years I babysat her and Ray's children also. She was ONE OF A KIND!God bless her and may the Lord send you all comfort and keep her memories alive.

It was my joy to bring the Eucharist to Edith at Lexington Park.
She and Ray watched out for other and would share delightful stories about their life and family. They never failed to express appreciation for being brought the Eucharist. Even when Edith couldn't say much she often would kiss my hand and tell me of her gratitude. She will be missed. May she now Rest In Peace!
